“The Battle against Time”

Battle rages, time and me,
let’s see who wins, who bends the knee.
It weighs me down, it steals my might,
yet I stand, I hold my fight.

The clocks may move, the days may fly,
But I won’t bow, I won’t comply.
For though time’s heavy, vast, and tall,
My will shall rise, outlast it all.
